As part of the Green Fingers sessions we held a mini Easter Eggstravaganza for the young people to attend. The Green Fingers site was an array of pastel yellows, blues and greens with all the daffodils and primroses in bloom that we planted earlier in the year and the apple orchard transformed into an Easter Tree orchard.
The young people had the opportunity to participate in a riddle based Easter egg hunt, followed by a range of Easter arts activities, Easter willow crafts, biscuit decorating and seasonal gardening (which we can’t wait to harvest later on in the year). For some we then had a go at re-painting the outside of our eco-loo sheds…Eggciting!
