Local Heritage Project
During the February half term we got together with the Infirmary and The Hive and put on a local heritage project. The young people looked at local historic buildings in Worcester and talked about when and how they were built and learned some interesting facts. Including how eco and environmentally friendly they are! The young people got to orienteer their way around the Infirmary grounds to find where human remains were discovered when renovating the area. They also got to see these remains and learn other interesting facts about the old Infirmary and its workers, their surgery procedures and doctors remedies in the Infirmary museum. The young people then had the challenge of recreating some of the buildings using Minecraft and Lego, which they thoroughly enjoyed and excelled at.
