It’s that time of year again! Green Fingers work very hard to make the Summer Activities Programme a success and we have an array of new and exciting activities booked this year. Including a play day at Imagination Street, a landscape painting workshop and a ‘Dig Day’. The ‘Dig Day’ is an opportunity for carers and young people to experience the quiet and beautiful setting of our Green Fingers site whilst getting stuck in with the therapeutic nature of gardening, furniture painting, learning new skills and helping out with the general maintenance of the site.
We will also be putting on a BBQ at the end of the day, for which we owe a HUGE thank you to The Cooperative in St Johns for donating all of the lovely fresh BBQ food and goodies and supporting Green fingers.
We also owe a huge thank you to Homebase in Blackpole for helping to support Green Fingers by giving us a discount on important tools and equipment needed for our ‘Dig Day’. It is so comforting knowing we are surrounded by a supportive community and we look forward to a fun filled, action packed summer of activities and then of course the annual Bowling Celebration Event to finish.
