We had over 20 young people attend the Spoken Word Workshop that was delivered in partnership with the Councils Art Department, Worcestershire Arts Partnership and the Virtual School. The workshop took place at Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Centre and it was a fantastic, fun packed evening where the young people had the chance to take part in two workshops. A drama workshop created by Lee Farley and a Spoken Word workshop with Spoz. The drama workshop was a no pressure drama workshop which included fun games and drama activities and the spoken work workshop taught the basics of writing poetry in a fun and funky way by using rap and an acoustic guitar. The young people really enjoyed it and we hope to run another workshop in the future.
